Turning Point provides consultations and referrals to anyone that has questions regarding substance abuse/dependence. We are also available to assist individuals and their families with referrals to residential treatment facilities as well as other services not provided by this office. Turning Point provides educational seminars and performs public speaking engagements at schools and student/civic organizations about the dangers of substance abuse. Our office also provides information for employers in regards to substance abuse at the workplace.
We are available to conduct clinical evaluations to determine if an individual has a substance abuse/dependence disorder. Those individuals who meet the criteria for services, after completing the clinical evaluation, will then be eligible to receive outpatient substance abuse/dependence treatment services through Turning Point. Outpatient treatment services vary from 3 to 6 months, and longer, depending upon the results of the clinical evaluation, and may include one or more of the following:
- Individual Sessions, bi-weekly
- Group Counseling
Turning Point also provides group counseling services to individuals who have problems with anger management.
